OBJECT was an exhibition which juxtaposed leading, internationally recognised abstract artists from the Arts Council of Ireland Collection with contemporary Irish craft, linked by shared interests in line, form, texture and colour.

 

The exhibition included some quirky and beautiful objects such as Siobhán Hapaska’s amorphous Sunlight created using car manufacturing technology, Frances Lambe’s spiny ceramic inspired by her diving experiences and John ffrench’s vividly coloured sculptural vessels.
