Mad for Tea

Fortnum and Masons, London, UK 2013

‘MAD for TEA’ looked at the full range of decorative art objects associated with the culture of tea and at how the contemporary designer/maker is breathing new life into the area.

The exhibition built on Fortnum & Mason’s history and tradition of supporting British craftsmanship and looked at both new products that they have developed as well as selected work from the best of British makers and manufacturers.

‘MAD for TEA’ launched several new objects within the Fortnum & Mason range as well as commissioned pieces from some of the companies that are already associated with the store.

The Crafts Council leant key pieces from their permanent collection to Fortnum & Mason’s for the exhibition.
