In 2007, Sarah Edwards from Contemporary Applied Arts, comssioned Brian Kennedy and Peter Ting to curate this exhibition.Exploring the fact that an object has a different life when it leaves the gallery to it’s new home. Kennedy and Ting transformed the traditional “white box” gallery, by means of colour, divisions and groupings to conjure and reference domestic space. Sixty makers were selected from the CAA’s members, ranging from the traditional to the cutting edge.
