VASE : Floral Interventions

National Craft Gallery, Kilkenny, Ireland 2016​

During the run of the exhibition VASE: Function Reviewed at the National Craft Gallery curator Brian Kennedy worked with master florist Lamber de Bee on 2 different sets of Floral interventions and responses to the vases in the exhibition. This succeeded in totally reanimating the exhibition and brought people back at different times to experience the works anew. It also questioned the notion of function and use and debated the original purpose of the vase and where it is now at.
